Book Launch: You Got To Be of the People

In this unprecedented book, 12 authors from Louisville’s public safety ecosystem illuminate what it takes to interrupt and prevent cycles of violence through in-depth descriptions of their experiences in community violence intervention.

Their first-person stories highlight the voices of those most impacted by community violence and those delivering solutions to the national public health crisis of gun violence.

Join us for the book launch!

On Thursday, October 23 at 6:30 p.m., come to the Kentucky Center for African American Heritage to celebrate these inspiring people and hear more about this project.
