Finalists in the Impact100 $100k Grant Opportunity
Finalists!
We are honored to be selected as one of ten finalists eligible for a $100,000 grant award from Impact100 Louisville. If you are new to Impact100, they are a community of women transforming lives through collective giving. This year, Impact100 has a total of $558,000 to award. They are giving five $100,000 grants and the residual funds will be distributed among the remaining finalists. We find out in early November!
Louisville Story Program will use funds to enhance our ongoing Louisville Black Photography Restoration Project, an intensive effort to preserve the photographic histories of Black life in Louisville, in close collaboration with Black photographers and their descendants. Available Light: Louisville Through the Lens of Bud Dorsey and The Defender special edition of Louisville Magazine are two publications that have already resulted from this overarching project.
