When we guest-edited this issue of Louisville Magazine, we placed the work of participant authors from a decade of the Louisville Story Program endeavors in orbit with each other. Some have reflected on the work they published in years past, what it means to be come a published author, and how their stories have changed or stayed the same as they've grown. Others offer their stories to the public for the first time here.
We are grateful to Louisville Magazine for inviting the Louisville Story Program to guest-edit three issues! This issue, released in October 2023, came out the year we celebrated our tenth anniversary as an organization.
This 232-page issue of Louisville Magazine showcases writing from authors who have worked with us over the past ten years. For some, this is their first publication!
